Rapemode
Think of the difference between
travelling, meeting, being welcomed, bearing news and gifts and sharing experiences with different peoples on the one hand;
on the other, think of soldiering and warfare:
in which normal people are conditioned
to seize and control territory, kill and pillage.
This is the difference between mating and rape.
This warfare conditioning is considered
a rite of initiation required
of all young men.
The bleed thru of this conditioning
into the realm of daily life
in a man back from the wars
is illegal and fully punished
under the laws of the civil conditioning.
We would rather not know how common this is.
The warfare conditioning becomes the shadow conditioning
for the man in civil society.
How does this affect that most secret and powerful aspect of civil life, sex? How about rape?
A rape based society.
Agriculture as rape relations: industrialized monocultures are a rape of the soil, the ecosystem, and the very nature of Gaia. We impose our wants by force, with no notice of what the soil, the ecosystem, or Gaia actually might offer us. We kill all manifestations except that species we cultivate. This is better termed agrorape. Consider that the same corporation often supplies together both a broadband biocide and the crop seeds genetically engineered to resist the poison. Nothing lives but the designated 'crop'.
The extraction industries upon which were based the industrial age can also be characterised as rape relations with the Earth. We rip out what we want at the moment, leaving poisoned landscapes behind us. Uninvited, we steal that which our primitive industries required, poisoning and fouling the beautiful body of Gaia, whose reality we reject, whose gifts go ignored. This is also rape.
Rape is based on objectification of the Other allowing the total Use by the solitary infantile egoself to its own separate, sick, and pathetic purposes... no connection..extreme abuse. The selfish self's abusive activity is in the realm of the dead; if life is contact, interaction, learning, growth, change, evolving, then rape behavior is death behavior. A kind of hyperaggressive autism..

'Superweeds' May Spell Crop Disaster
The spectre of 'superweeds' engulfing the worlds crops and wild areas has been raised by the discovery that genes artificially engineered into a food crop have passed into a weed.
The chicken business- The franchiser comes around and cuts the deal.
A sort of warehouse is set up a week later on the buyer of the franchise's
property. The computers and life support systems are installed, and turned
on. In the night arrives a truckload of thousands of 2 day old
chicks. In the building they are housed in, feed, water
and temperature control are 100% automated. Lights burn 24 hrs.
Everything is geared to making these chicks grow as fast and as fat as
possible in the shortest period of time. Company trucks bring in the
special feed, company trucks cart off the wastes, and after 6 weeks a
company truck comes in the night, and takes them all to slaughter.
You
see them soon thereafter, at 5$ apiece in your local food chain store.They
are not beings, but flesh farmlets themselves.
Nature has again been
detourné, to give what we want; beings are being farmed for their meat.
Nothing new, is it? But this industrialisation is deeply unsettling to us,
these chickens which are not real chickens, their lives hijacked at birth for
the profit on 5 bucks. The problem is this 'production' and 'harvesting' of
millions of beings every day is an unhealthy dynamic with Nature, and
with the Spirit, or whatever you want to call that aspect of the Universe
which brings forth being-ness and beings; ... and lives, and experience,
and love.

Body Parts
Already in the 80's there were occasional reports in the English language
Asian press of childnappers in southwest asia herding groups of children
over borders for organ extraction.
By the nineties, we heard of people selling one of their kidneys in India.
We heard of parents selling their children's kidneys. And of brigands
supplying the organ trade. In '94 I heard 3rd hand of a couple met on
arrival at the airport in Sao Paolo by some officials,
next remembering waking up in an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts
of the city, strapped on tables, each missing one kidney.
The organ trade is computerized, a vast network of bidders and offered
organs. The organs have to be fresh, very fresh. There is a backlog of
orders throughout the world; the bidding is fevered, the prices high.
The Chinese are rumored to 'harvest' the organs of those executed by the state. Hearts of Ape, Livers of Swine, Kidneys of The Kidnapped , the Eyes of
Killers and the Marrow of Their Victims ... parts, spare parts. Is it not a
wonder that it doesn't seem to strike us as odd the idea of having parts of
your internal flesh replaced by parts grown within an other being? If an
organ is sick, how did it get that way? Replacing it with someone else's
seems absurd, bringing in trauma related problems, requiring drugs to suppress the immune system, and only postponing the return of the
original problem to the new part, probably worse this time than before
because of systemic weakening through trauma. These procedures are
closer to Dr Frankenstein than what could by any stretch of the
imagination be called 'healing'; recipients and donors alike are victims of
this bizarre outgrowth of reductionist rapemode in medical science.
